Donating your eggs - is it bad for you?

Egg donation has been successfully performed since 1984. We treat many, many couples each year who need donated eggs to become pregnant. The egg donors are typically healthy women under the age of 35 and most have never been pregnant before. These women often ask if donating their eggs will reduce their fertility in the future.

It’s a fair question: after all, if you knew that by donating your eggs to someone meant you might not have biological children of your own in the future, you might reconsider whether you want to donate.
